Einstein's Relativity
The Public Science Lectures
November 22, 2010 Cambridge Public Library, Cambridge, MA
Tereasa Brainerd, Ph.D., Professor and Chair, Department of Astronomy; Director, Institute for Astrophysical Research, Boston University
Professor Brainerd discusses some of the fascinating, and perhaps unsettling, consequences of Einstein's theories of Special Relativity and General Relativity. Her talk includes an explanation of how gravity affects time and space, and how time travel into the future is theoretically possible on a very fast spaceship.
