Meet James Mott, Ph.D.

James Mott, Ph.D. is an Adjunct Asst Prof of physics at Boston University who was involved in developing the custom electronics for the 2021 Fermilab Muon g-2 experiment that if confirmed is considered the most important event since the confirmation of the Higgs boson in 2012. Dr. Mott appeared on Science for the Public's Contemporary Science Issues and Innovations program on June 07, 2021 to explain the excitement about the Muon g-2 experiment, and his work in devising the extremely accurate electronics for the Fermilab accelerator that made the experiment so promising.
